The durex advertisement was banned due to the fact that it was inappropriate for prime time television. The therefore means that it was banned as children; such as kids; should not be exposed to these types of advertisements. These inappropriate advertisements are bad even despite the time its to be showed as even kids can get access to it easily.
Fathers4Justice ran a national press ad in March this year with the headline "Say it with hate this Mother's Day", alongside a picture of a toddler with various negative words written all over his body including pig, rioter, wife beater, pathetic and rapist. The print advert was banned because of the fact that it sterotypically associated men with all of these words therefore stating that all men are "pathetic"...ect. It was therefore banned as this portrays derogatory personalities about men
